What is a makerspace?
A makerspace (also referred to as a hacklab, hackerspace or hackspace) is a community-operated, Not For Profit, workspace where people with common interests, often in computers, machining, technology, craft, science, digital art or electronic art, can meet, socialise and collaborate.
If you’re interested in doing interesting things the makerspace is designed with you in mind. The workshop is home to a host of equipment, resources and workspaces to help you realise your ideas.
You can see a selection of our equipment below:
- 3D Printers
- 3D Scanner
- Laser Cutter
- Soldering stations
- Electronics lab
- Wood working tools
Open to the public Thursday evenings from 6pm and to members at all other times.
